Welcome to the Escambia County School District Food Services' Website. Our vision is to promote culinary excellence in our cafeterias by offering the healthiest, most nutritious meals to our students while adhering to the guidelines set by The National School Lunch Program. Our department plays an integral part in our children’s education as we offer the “fuel” that our students need to stay focused and do well in class. We are committed to our students, staff and community and value our responsibility to Escambia County.
We offer a variety of choices to our students at both breakfast and lunch. We will continue to strive for diverse menu items and to offer more “made from scratch” selections in all schools. We are developing new recipes to include vegetarian offerings and will offer the freshest salads, wraps, hoagies and pizzas made from scratch in our own kitchens. We encourage our children and staff to eat in our cafeterias in order to develop healthy habits that will last a lifetime.
Healthy, well balanced and nutritious eating habits promote higher performance both in and out of the classroom.
