The School Board of Escambia County, Florida, convened in Special Workshop Meeting at 9:45 a.m., in the Board Room at the Administrative Building, 215 West Garden Street, Pensacola, Florida, with the following present:

I. CALL TO ORDER

Chairman Stidham called the Special Workshop to order at 9:45 a.m.

II. ITEMS FROM THE BOARD

An informational presentation was given and discussion was held with Ward Hancock, Director of Risk Management, Florida School Boards Insurance Trust; David Marcus, National Director, Scholastic Division, Arthur J. Gallagher & Company; and Dave Ford, Director of Risk Management, Santa Rosa County School District, to provide information to the Board concerning the pros and cons of a Risk Management Trust.
