The School Board of Escambia County, Florida, convened in Special Meeting at 1:30 p.m. in the Board Room at the Administrative Building, 215 West Garden Street, Pensacola, Florida, with the following present:

Chairman: Mrs. Cary Stidham Vice Chairman: Dr. John DeWitt

Members: Dr. Elmer Jenkins

Mrs. Vanette Webb

Dr. Hal Mason was not present

School Board Attorney: Mr. Francisco Negron

Superintendent of Schools: Mr. Jim May

Chairman Stidham called the meeting to order at 1:30 p.m. The Chairman inquired of Mrs. Webb as to her absence from the Regular School Board Meeting last night, and Mrs. Webb stated that she was advised not to say where she was.

I. ADOPTION OF AGENDA

Motion by Dr. DeWitt, second by Dr. Jenkins, to adopt the agenda, was approved 4-0 with Dr. Mason absent.

II. ITEMS FROM THE ATTORNEY

1) EXECUTIVE SESSION REQUESTED BY SCHOOL BOARD ATTORNEY TO DISCUSS PENDING LITIGATION

Motion by Dr. DeWitt, second by Dr. Jenkins, to go into Executive Session, was approved 4-0 with Dr. Mason absent.

III. ADJOURNMENT
