The School Board of Escambia County, Florida, convened in Special Meeting at 8:00 a.m. in the Board Room at the Administrative Building, 215 West Garden Street, Pensacola, Florida, with the following present:

I. ADOPTION OF AGENDA

There being no objection, adoption of the agenda was unanimously approved.

II. PRESENTATION OF SCHOOL IMPROVEMENT PLANS

The following schools presented their school improvement plans for the 1999-2000 school year:

Following each presentation, Board Members made comments and asked questions regarding individual plans.

Superintendent May encouraged school staff to follow up and share information with each other on the many positive approaches and methodologies being used to emphasize student achievement.
