The School Board of Escambia County, Florida, convened in Special Meeting at 1:00 p.m. in the Board Room at the Administrative Building, 215 West Garden Street, Pensacola, Florida, with the following present:

Chairman: Mrs. Cary Stidham Vice Chairman: Dr. John DeWitt

Members: Dr. Elmer Jenkins

Dr. Hal Mason (joined the meeting in progress at 1:05 p.m.)

Mrs. Vanette Webb

School Board Attorney: Mrs. Maureen George

Superintendent of Schools: Mr. Jim May

I. ADOPTION OF AGENDA

Motion by Dr. DeWitt, second by Dr. Jenkins, to adopt the agenda, was unanimously approved.

II. ITEMS FROM THE ATTORNEY

1) REQUEST FOR EXECUTIVE SESSION

After discussion, motion by Dr. DeWitt, second by Dr. Jenkins, to call for an Executive Session to discuss pending litigation, was unanimously approved. (Said Executive Session convened immediately upon conclusion of this meeting at 1:10 p.m. in the Superintendent's Conference Room at 215 West Garden Street, Pensacola, Florida.)
